Dean’s Message

Success in Clinical Research is not earned from Certificates, it is earned from Experience and years of Practice from the Faculty who have devoted themselves in that feild. “COME EARN IT FROM US”

Manavata Clinical Research Insititute is eastablished to help cultivate an environment in the Medical field that encourages and supports the application of research to patient care, we have established the Manavata Clinical Research Institute (MCRI). This new and innovative infrastructure will advance education, collaboration and research in clinical research science.

The strategic objectives of the Manavata Clinical Research Institute are:

  1. To enhance and expand the Manavata Clinical Research program.
  2. To establish a geographically distributed network of clinical Research education affiliations.
  3. To re-establish a full spectrum of clinical research training programs.
  4. To determine feasibility and initiate planning for the advanced clinical research programs which will help excel the field of pharmacy and medical science.
  5. To establish a robust clinical research program in support of financial sustainability of the students who enroll themselves in the course.

The Institute is being built on the alliances with Drug Monitoring Research Institute & Clinical Research Academy India.
The MCRI will have adjunct faculty members from Mumbai, Pune, Banglore, Delhi and community researchers. The adjunct faculty members will have access to research facilities and educational services of the partner institutions. The MCRI, though its degree-granting members, is in the process of developing other programs in clinical research sciences.

The Institute’s goal is to advance biomedical sciences and application to patient care and technology transfer. The Key elements of the MCRI Educational model going forward will be:

  1. A geographically distributed clinical research education network
  2. A single inter-disciplinary department whose primary focus is Clinical Research
  3. An integrated curriculum
  4. The use of Information Technology to optimize education opportunities, to accelerate clinical research and to support high quality, cost effective, coordinated care
  5. Multidisciplinary and inter-professional team teaching and team learning, and
  6. Pipeline programs and community engagement

To oversee the MCRI, I have appointed Dr. Bhushan Nemade Senior Associate & Dr. Shrikant for Clinical Research. Dr. Shrikant and Dr Bhushan Nemade will maintain there roles as the other professor also. There leadership acumen and experience integrating basic science and clinical research will be of great value to the MCRI and its efforts to bring basic discoveries to bedside use, build collaboration and develop the next generation of clinical researchers.
